SimWorld Awards - Nominate Your Favourites!

Nominating is easy. All you need to do is send an email to us, and list the categories you have nominations for. Please specify Classic Legacy blogs, or University Legacy blogs. If you are nominating for Classic Legacy categories, the blogs nominated must be going with Classic Legacy rules. And the same goes true for University nominations.

I'm using Hedgekat's legacy blog for example, as it's the first one that came to mind. :)

For example. Your email could look like this:

Best Male Founder/Heir - Kester Genester -- he stands out to me, for how he handled the birth of his son by Kaylynn. Mainly the picture of him cradling his baby is the example I choose for his nomination. Here's the link: http://hedgekat.blogspot.com/2005/04/chapter-3-part-1-complications.html

Then we would know where to look, and we'd take a screen capture of that image, and the caption that goes with it, to showcase in the list of nominations. You can do this with as many categories as you like in one mail. Or you can choose to nominate only for 2 or 3 categories. Or you can nominate a couple today, a couple tomorrow, and next week when someone's blog really strikes you as excellent, you can send in more nominations for whatever parts of their update seems to deserve a nomination.

Once the nomination period is over, the judges will sit down and choose from all the nominations, a total of 7 per category. This will be done by first choosing the ones that have more than one nomination for a category. If the entry above is nominated by 3 people for the same category, then it's definitely going to make it through the nomination period. Once we have no more than 7 entries for each category, we will then post a poll. One for Classic Legacy, and one for University Legacy. This will allow you, our readers, to vote on which entry you think most deserves the honour of that title.

Once the voting period is over, the top three will be announced, and we will have one more voting period. This time for the top three. The top three finalists will all receive honours for their placement, and each of the winners for each category will receive a trophy that can be placed on your Sims 2 blog, website, livejournal, wherever you like, if you choose to use it. You will not be required to put it to use. But we are spending a good deal of time creating a graphic trophy for every category to be awarded. The winners names will be engraved on these trophies as well.

Listed below is a recap of the categories. To send us your nominations, please just email us with your choices. Take your time, there will be at least two weeks for nominations to be entered.
