Welcome to the official site for the Summer 2005, Legacy Awards!

This is a project that we have put together, mainly for fun. How many of us out there are doing the Classic Legacy Challenge, or the University Legacy Challenge, for the Sims 2 and Sims 2 University? This is a challenge put out by Pinstar1161 on The Sims 2 Site and it has snowballed into a major undertaking by thousands of Simmers alike.

Many of us write our Sims 2 stories much like soap operas we see on television today. So we thought it might be fun, to do much like the annual Soap Opera Awards that are put on by Soap Opera Digest each year.

This is something that is just for fun. There's no monetary award, there's no real spiffy in-game award. Just the fun of participating, and probably a graphic trophy for your blog site, depicting what category your segment was nominated and awarded. This is an awards show for those of us who have Legacy Blogs, be they on a public free blog site, the Sims 2 site, or your own personal site. Pictures and captions are what are required, as some of the categories will be for photographic content as well.
